The National Core Drill is the ideal tool for installing any National Pool Fence. It is especially good for those motivated individuals who find installation of our fences so easy that they take it upon themselves to become full- or part-time installers for a bit of extra income.
For the most effective installation, our National Core Drill comes with a stand for precise drilling. This bracket assists in setting the drill to drill straight down (90 degrees) or at an angle. For convenient usage, our drill produces less dust and vibration, and features a higher drilling speed. The National Core Drill is also equipped with a circuit breaker to protect the motor should the drill come in contact with an obstruction. There are numerous grease fittings for extended longevity of the drill, and the drill comes with two allen wrenches and two crescent wrenches.
The National Core Drill is designed for convenient operation and troubleshooting. It comes with a water hook up because it is necessary to operate any core drill; the water prevents the drill bit from being damaged during usage. If the drill bit becomes clogged during operation, manually turn the drill with the included crescent wrench. Use the crescent wrench to free it from the obstacle, remove the drill bit and wash it out with water. Be sure that all debris is removed and reattach the drill bit to the core drill. While in operation, the drill motor should be protected from debris and water. For the National Fence use a 1.25" diameter drill bit (not included). For other projects, it may be necessary to use up to a 4.7" drill bit (not included) for drilling brick, or a 3" drill bit (not included) for drilling concrete.
